Lift Information
At Sugarloaf we are committed to the safety and reliability of our lift system. Our goal is to lead the industry in safety and maintenance practices, and we have invested significant resources in recent years to ensure that all of our lifts feature industry-leading safety technology and exceed manufacturer specified safety standards. This page will serve as a resource to keep you updated with any news regarding lift safety and maintenance.
Lift Safety
The safety of our guests and staff is our most important priority in everything we do at Sugarloaf, including the operation of our chairlift system.
We are committed to continuing our work to lead the ski industry in safety and maintenance practices, and part of that work is educating our guests on safe passenger behavior. From proper loading and unloading procedures to use of the safety bar, there are a number of steps you can take to ensure your personal safety while riding a chairlift. You can lean more about these practices here.
Another important part of our work is a commitment to observe and listen, and to communicate transparently with our guests. If you're ever curious about what's happening with any of our lifts, or if you see anything of concern, be sure to let us know via the email below.
