Lift Safety

The safety of our guests and staff is our most important priority in everything we do at Sugarloaf, including the operation of our chairlift system.

We are committed to continuing our work to lead the ski industry in safety and maintenance practices, and part of that work is educating our guests on safe passenger behavior. From proper loading and unloading procedures to use of the safety bar, there are a number of steps you can take to ensure your personal safety while riding a chairlift. You can lean more about these practices here

Another important part of our work is a commitment to observe and listen, and to communicate transparently with our guests. If you're ever curious about what's happening with any of our lifts, or if you see anything of concern, be sure to let us know via the email below.
