Our full-service rental shop features a wide selection of high-quality skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets. The Sugarloaf Rental team provides personalized fittings and expert advice to ensure your equipment is comfortable and performance-ready, so you can hit the slopes with confidence.

What's my skier type?
Your skier type, height, weight, age, and boot sole length are used by the rental or demo shop technician to determine the release and retention settings for your bindings. Consult the descriptions below to select your classification. Be sure to provide accurate information, as errors may increase your risk of injury.
Type I: Cautious skiing on smooth slopes of gentle to moderate pitch
Skiers who designate themselves as Type I receive lower than-average release/retention settings. This corresponds to an increased risk of inadvertent binding release in order to promote a release in case of a fall. This type also applies to entry-level skiers uncertain of their classification.
Type II: Skiers not classified as Type I or III
Skiers who designate themselves as Type II receive average release/retention settings appropriate for most recreational skiing.
Type III: Fast skiing on slopes of moderate or steep pitch
Skiers who designate themselves as Type III receive higher than average release/retention settings. This corresponds to decreased release-ability in a fall in order to gain a decreased risk of inadvertent binding release. This classification is not recommended for skiers under 45 lbs.
Junior Has A Fit
Get your child an expertly fitted set of rental equipment to use for the season. Kids use the equipment all season, and when it's returned, parents get a 100% credit of the original price toward new equipment for next year.

Important Rental Information
No, lift tickets are sold separately from rentals. You may purchase Lift Tickets online or at a ticket window. For online ticket purchases, guests can head straight to our Online Ticket Kiosk to pick up their reloadable RFID GoCard.
Greeters at the entrance will help manage traffic flow and control indoor capacity, ensuring you're directed where you need to go. The process is beginner-friendly and straightforward.
- First, you'll provide information about your experience and the equipment you'd like to rent.
- Next, you'll visit the rental desk, where an assistant will confirm your selections and guide you to a team member for equipment fitting.
- Basket rentals are available for storage.
The rental process is step-by-step and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving in the morning for the best experience.
Pick-up at the Rental Shop in the afternoon prior to your rental reservation from 2 PM-4 PM.
- Please return your rental equipment to the Rental Shop by 4:30 PM on the last day of your rental reservation.
- Returned equipment is sprayed with disinfectant after each use.
