Season Pass FAQs

General 

  • The New England Pass is a season pass offering skiing and riding at Sunday River and Sugarloaf in Maine and Loon Mountain Resort in New Hampshire.

  • If you had a season pass during the 2022-23 season you can renew your season pass at special rates if you purchase by April 30. Renewal rates will not be available after April 30. 

  • Yes, you can upgrade your pass to a higher level at any time. The cost for upgrading will be based on the current pass prices at the time the upgrade is made.

  • Yes, if you purchase a 2023/24 season pass you can begin using it on March 20, 2023 through the end of the season.

  • You will have the option of using your rollover credit to purchase at lower Renewal Sale rates or regular spring sale rates. If you purchase at regular spring sale rates you will be able to use your season pass beginning on March 20 through the end of the season. 

  • Yes, if you chose to roll over the value of your season pass in 2022/23 you can purchase your 2023/24 season pass at the renewal rate using your rollover credit. However, if you would like to begin using it on March 20, 2023, you must purchase at the New Pass Holder rate.

  • Platinum and Gold: Receive three free days at Boyne Resorts' western mountains, including Big Sky Resort, Montana and Brighton, Utah. These three days of access are loaded on the pass at the time of purchase and therefore pass holders can go direct to lift at sister resorts, except at Brigton, Utah. (Visit Guest Services at Brighton to pickup.) After three days are used, the pass holder can receive 50% off regular-season window rates buy purchasing online. Visit the resort's online store in the Sister Resort category to purchase.

    Silver and Nitro: Receive 50% off regular-season window rates buy purchasing online. Visit the resort's online store in the Sister Resort category to purchase.

    Sister Resort benefits are valid for the pass holder only.

  • After the April 30 deadline all pass products will go off sale and are expected to go back on in May. It is possible that certain pass products may not be available after the April 30 deadline. 

  • The pass holder's age on November 1, 2023 determines the age category for 2023/24 New England Pass products.

  • Yes. You will receive a 2023/24 Ikon Base Pass in addition to your Platinum New England Pass, which will give you unlimited and 5-day access to 36 global destinations (does not include Jackson Hole or Aspen Snowmass). Platinum pass holders will receive instructions by email in the fall on how to redeem their Ikon Base pass. 

    • Your Ikon Base Pass does not include access to Loon, Sugarloaf, or Sunday River 
    • 8 Friends & Family vouchers are not valid at Loon Sugarloaf, or Sunday River 
    • Pass is non transferable, non refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.  
    • Ikon Base Pass is not valid for spring 2021 access.  
    • Not eligible for upgrades or insurance.  
    • Included Ikon Base Pass must be redeemed separately through Ikonpass.com by December 8, 2023.

  • Yes. All pass holders will have the option to roll over the monetary value of their 2023/24 season pass to the 2024/25 season for any reason, until December 10, 2023. See Winter Rollover details at your home resort's website for more details.

  • Platinum and Gold Pass holders receive 50% off the in-season lift ticket window rates at Mountain Collective resorts, excluding Loon, Sunday River and Sugarloaf resorts. 

    To use this benefit, the pass holder must present their pass at the resort ticket window. This benefit is valid for the pass holder only.

  • Benefits vary by the pass type. For specific information, visit each resort's website: 

  • Yes, you can apply Boyne Rewards points toward your season pass purchase as part of the checkout process in the online store. Please note that Boyne Rewards points cannot be applied to a payment plan purchase. 

Payment Plans

  • Affirm is a third-party payment plan provider that manages payment plans for a variety of goods and services sold online.

  • You will have the option to apply for an Affirm payment plan for 2023/24 season passes and seasonal products when purchasing online. Select Payment Plan as your payment type and follow the instructions.

  • 2023/24 season passes and seasonal programs such as snow sports school qualify for payments plans, with a minimum total cart value of $250 per transaction.

  • 2023/24 season passes and seasonal programs purchased by April 30, 2023 are eligible for 0% interest based on qualification. Longer payment terms are available with interest, and interest may be charged for purchasers who do not qualify for the 0% offer. 

  • No. Payment plans are only available for products purchased online.
