This year's program will offer three age groups; each includes instructional time with Sugarloaf Golf Professionals, free clubs, unlimited play during class sessions, use of the driving range, and an end-of-season awards cook-out. Thanks to the Town of Carrabassett Valley for their support of this program.

  • Offers opportunities to participate in Junior golf events throughout the state

Golf Cubs: Ages 5-7

Golf Cubs meet on Sundays at the Pro Shop from 3:30-4:20 for 10 sessions. We'll focus on learning the fundamentals of the game with a high frequency of deliberate play. With this age group, the goal is a fun and rewarding introduction to the sport. 

$50 per kid: Includes all sessions, free clubs if needed, unlimited junior membership, monthly play days, opportunities to play in junior events throughout the state, and an end-of-season awards cookout.

Alden's Linksters: Ages 8-11

Alden's Linksters meet Tuesdays and Sundays from 4:30-5:30pm for 18 sessions. We'll focus on learning the game of golf with about 50% of the time spent playing on course. Rules and etiquette will also be a part of instruction. 

$125 per kid: Includes all sessions, free clubs if needed, monthly play days, opportunities to play in junior events throughout the state, and an end-of-season awards cookout.

Tiger's Tee: Ages 12-18

Tiger's Tee meets on Tuesdays and Sundays from 5:30-6:45pm. We'll focus on learning the game of golf with about 50% of the time spent playing on course. Rules and etiquette will also be a part of instruction. Class will meet for 18 sessions.

$125 per kid: Includes all sessions, free clubs if needed, monthly play days, opportunities to play in junior events throughout the state, and an end-of-season awards cookout on September 3rd.
