The Sugarloaf Nordic Inferno returns! Join us for a fun, grass-roots cross-country race that starts on Sugarloaf Mountain and ends at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center.
Nordic skiers unite and bring their best during the annual Sugarloaf Inferno Nordic XC Race.
This fun, grassroots cross-country race features an alpine and Nordic ski component, offering participants a challenging yet enjoyable course to test their skills. Helmets are required, and costumes are encouraged, with prizing awarded to the best in style.
Ages 10+ and suitable for advanced Nordic skiers. Spectating is highly encouraged.
Day of registration opens at 9 AM, with shuttles departing from the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center at 10:30 AM, with a race start time at 11 AM at Whiffletree.
Route (subject to change): Racers will start at the bottom of the King Pine lift (bottom of Tohaul), head down Cross Haul to Stubs Glade, then take the Inferno trail to Old Race trail, 7 Bridges, and end in the Outdoor Center stadium.
