Carrabassett Valley Region

Ride the Region is a three-day event showcasing all things mountain biking in the Carrabassett Region.

This three-day event will provide a sampler of the Carrabassett Region from earning turns at Freeman Ridge Bike Park to lift-served gravity riding at Sugarloaf Mountain to guided rides for all abilities in Carrabassett Valley. There will be something for everyone!

Friday highlights local gem Freeman Ridge Bike Park in Kingfield.

Saturday offers lift-served gravity chills and thrills at the Sugarloaf Mountain Bike Park. For those who prefer XC riding, Maine Adaptive will host an Intermediate + ride from the AOEC to Stratton Brook Hut for lunch and a Novice ride on surrounding trails. These XC rides welcome both adaptive and non-adaptive riders.

On Sunday experience some of the 80 miles of trails leaving from the Outdoor Center in Carrabassett Valley. There will be rides for all abilities including adaptive-compatible rides, family rides and a destination ride to Stratton Brook Hut for a lunch prepared by Maine Huts and Trails.

After each day of riding with old friends and new, there will be apres socials at select locations in Kingfield and Carrabassett Valley.

Ride the Region is proudly co-hosted by The Town of Carrabassett Valley, CRNEMBA, Maine Adaptive, Freeman Ridge Bike Park, Sugarloaf Mountain and Maine Huts & Trails.
