Sugarloaf Patriots Run Draws Enthusiastic Crowd in Celebration of Super Bowl LX

Fans gathered for beloved mountain tradition ahead of Patriots championship game

CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine - Sugarloaf brought back its signature Patriots Run tradition on Sunday morning as New England Patriots fans gathered at the base of Whiffletree Quad to celebrate their team's appearance in Super Bowl LX.

Decked out in Patriots jerseys, flags, and team colors, skiers and riders assembled at 9:50 AM for the group run down Whiffletree Trail—marking the first Patriots Run since the team's 2019 Super Bowl victory over the Los Angeles Rams. The first 75 participants received complimentary unrestricted lift ticket vouchers valid for the 2025/26 season, while all fans in Patriots gear were eligible to purchase $75 day tickets.

"The energy this morning was incredible," said Jessica Sechler, VP of Sales, Marketing & Events at Sugarloaf. "It's moments like these that remind us why Sugarloaf traditions matter—bringing our community together to celebrate New England pride on the mountain we all love."

The group loaded the Whiffletree Quad together at 10 AM and made the celebratory descent, cheering for the Patriots ahead of tonight's championship game.
