Sugarloaf Bike Park Opens for the 2026 Season

Expanded programming in its second year of operation

Carrabassett Valley, Maine — June 22, 2026 — Sugarloaf Bike Park officially launched its 2026 summer season this past weekend, welcoming hundreds of riders from Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 21 for a high-energy opening celebration on the mountain.

Located at Sugarloaf Mountain Resort, the Bike Park is now open for weekend operations and will expand to Thursday–Sunday operations beginning in July as summer riding season builds momentum.

Opening weekend marked a strong kickoff to the season, with riders enjoying lift-served access, flow trails, and technical terrain across Sugarloaf’s expanding downhill network. The weekend set the tone for what is expected to be one of the park’s most active summers yet.

New for the 2026 Season

Sugarloaf Bike Park is introducing several new programs and benefits designed to grow the sport and enhance the rider experience for all levels:

Seasonal Operations Update

Sugarloaf Bike Park is currently operating on a weekend schedule, with expanded hours beginning in July:

June–June 30: Weekends only

Starting July: Thursday–Sunday operations

Season pass pricing will increase on June 26, encouraging riders to lock in early-season access before the next pricing tier takes effect.
