Sugarloaf Celebrates 75th Day of the Season with Special Promotions, Commemorative Keepsakes, and Live Music
Resort honors milestone with $75 lift tickets, vintage-style tickets for all guests, and recognition of six skiers chasing consecutive-day records
CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine – Sugarloaf will mark the 75th day of its historic 75th anniversary season on Tuesday, February 3, with a day-long celebration featuring special pricing, limited-edition giveaways, and live music.
In a nod to the resort's heritage, every skier and rider on the mountain that day—whether ticket holder or passholder—will receive a commemorative 75th anniversary lift wicket, reminiscent of the paper tickets issued in Sugarloaf's early days.
"This season has been incredibly special as we celebrate 75 years of Sugarloaf, and reaching day 75 gives us another opportunity to thank our loyal guests and share in the history that makes this place so unique," said Karl Strand, President & General Manager of Sugarloaf.
Special Day-of Promotions:
- $75 all-day lift tickets
- $75 private lessons
- Commemorative 75th anniversary buffs (while supplies last)
- Limited-edition 75th Sugarloaf stickers
- Complimentary commemorative wicket for every guest
- Featuring Winter’s Way 75th Special Edition Golden Ale available cross all F&B outlets at Sugarloaf by Orono Brewing, Maine.
Honoring Consecutive-Day Skiers
Six dedicated skiers and riders are currently on track to achieve a rare milestone—skiing or riding every day of the season thus far. These athletes will be recognized during a special presentation at 4:30 p.m. in the Widowmaker, where they'll be awarded their exclusive one-of-a-kind 75th anniversary commemorative pin.
The celebration continues with free live music in the Widowmaker from 3:00-6:00 p.m., providing the perfect après-ski atmosphere to toast this momentous season.
