Sustainability Scholarship Award

The Sugarloaf Sustainability Scholarship is awarded annually to graduating seniors from Mt. Abram High School and Carrabassett Valley Academy who are actively engaged in sustainability-focused projects within their school or community.

This scholarship aims to highlight students whose efforts promote long-term, systemic change in alignment with Sugarloaf's commitment to the ForeverProject by creating a meaningful impact through activities related to reducing carbon emissions, being a good steward to the environment, and caring for our community. More information on this initiative can be found at sugarloaf.com/sustainability.

Applicants are required to submit a 500-word essay detailing how their actions contribute to positive environmental change. Recipients are selected by the Sugarloaf Scholarship Committee and will be announced at their school’s award assembly.

Scholarship funds are disbursed after the successful completion of the first term with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
