About the Bands

  • Don’t Let Go performed their first gig in 2010. Since then they’ve been lucky to play all over New England to many people and with many musicians. Anchored by Keir Anzelmo, Don’t Let Go will be performing with some of the best musicians in the Dead scene from around New England. They’ll be kicking off the weekend in the Widowmaker playing the music of Jerry Garcia band and more!

  • Progressive high- octane instrumental and vocal performances of The Grateful Dead & Jerry Garcia Band, harvesting a pure blend of inspirational jams and fierce rock n roll. Led by guitarist Marcus Rezak with an all-star group of musicians from across the musical universe. After recently opening for Melvin Seals and JGB in Hermosa Beach, CA, Pink Talking Fish at the Park West in Chicago, IL, sold out shows in Denver, Co at The Ripple, Winston’s in Ocean Beach, CA and a blistering performance at Skull & Roses Festival in Ventura, CA, the band has been on fire performing all across the U.S. for a memorable nights of love, energy, and high energy shredding jams!

  • The Maine Dead Project features a wide-ranging repertoire of Grateful Dead Classics through strong, high-energy musical performances. Members of the MDP have shared stages with John Popper (Blues Traveler), Chris Barron (Spin Doctors), Tom Constanten (Grateful Dead), Mean Willie Green (Neville Brothers), Jeff Watkins (James Brown Band), The New Orleans Suspects, members of Strangefolk, members of the Trey Anastasio Band, Cyril Neville, Warren Haynes and more.

  • A Grateful Dead tribute band from Maine -- Lazy Lightning -- that performed throughout Maine and New England in the 1990s and 2000s, Lazy Lightning was the longest tenured Grateful Dead tribute band for 15 years in Portland, Maine, performing weekly residencies Old Port bars such as Leo's, The Basement, The Alehouse and The Big Easy.

Founding members Rodney Sturdee (guitar, vocals) and Jeff Glidden (drums) and longtime member Jeff Merrow (keyboards) will be joined by the latest formulation of the Lazy Lightning story.

  • Based in southern Maine, Rose Alley features an all-star cast of musicians including Kevin Roper on hammond organ, piano and vocals, vocalist-guitarist Aaron Nadeau, drums and vocals from Neil Carroll and Drew Wyman on bass. The band re-creates and re-imagines the original and cover songs performed by Jerry Garcia and his solo band throughout the years. Rose Alley member Aaron Nadeau is on a wander around the Western US this winter so John Kadlecik has graciously agreed to fill in for Aaron.

  • John's ever evolving solo act, incorporating acoustic & electric guitar, bass, drums, piano & more, all activated with a single electric guitar, in traditional solo song performances as well as looping full band jams.
