Ski & Tee Weekend

Cancelation Update

The bad news is that, with several inches of snow still covering most of the course and below freezing temps expected overnight tonight, we’re going to have to call off the “Tee” portion of Ski & Tee weekend. The good news however, is that underneath that snow, the grass is bright green and in great shape for us to open the course as scheduled in late May.

And, of course, the “Ski” side of the event is still on, with plenty of snow to celebrate the final weekend of the winter season.

Seldom do you have the opportunity to ski and golf in the same day, but if there’s one bright side to a lackluster snow year it’s that the golf course has come through the winter in great shape. So good in fact that you could almost play all 18 holes as they sit right now. And for the first time in a decade, Sugarloafers will have the unique opportunity to ski down and club up on the same day during our Ski & Tee Weekend, April 24-25. This will also mark one of the earliest times in the 35 year history of the Sugarloaf Golf Club that the course has been playable.

Greens Fees for Saturday and Sunday will be just $25 to play four holes, and all play will be walking-only.

Trail Conditions

This will be the last weekend for lift serviced-skiing and riding and conditions will likely be somewhat sporty thanks to the recent stretch of warm weather. As is common this time of year, snow surfaces vary across the mountain with the possibility of thin coverage and unmarked obstacles. Checkout the Mountain Report for the latest updates.

TEE TIMES

The award-winning Sugarloaf Golf Club will open four holes on the backside for the weekend, allowing visitors to ski in the morning and play golf in the afternoon, or vice versa. Greens Fees for Saturday and Sunday will be just $25 to play four holes, and anyone who shows a lift ticket or season pass will also receive a commemorative Ski and Tee baseball cap.

All rounds will be walking-only, and tee times should be booked in advance by calling the Pro Shop at 207.237.6812.
