Carrabassett Fat Tire Race

Postponed to Feb 20

2/5/22 Update: The 2022 Carrabassett Fat Tire Race is postponed to Sunday, February 20.

With the recent snowfall, we have decided to postpone the race until Sunday, February 20. Despite our best efforts to groom and our optimism the low temps would firm up the course, the conditions still remain too soft.

We apologize for the inconvenience of this postponement and hope you all can still join us in a couple of weeks. If you are unable to attend Sunday, February 20,  please email us for a refund of your registration fee. For those who may still have friends or family that missed the registration deadline and would like to race, registration will be extended through February 18 or until all remaining spots filled, whichever comes first.

The Race

There will be two courses: a 9-10 mile short course and an 18-20 mile long course. The final course layout(s) will be dictated by snow conditions and temperatures, which are ever-changing in New England! Our intention is to provide a high-quality course that will lead to a fun and positive race experience.
