Final round underway at AJGA Coca-Cola Junior Championship
CARRABASSETT VALLEY, ME (July 31, 2013) – The final round of the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Coca-Cola Championship is underway at the Sugarloaf Golf Club, with Drake Hull of Rutland, VT holding a one-stroke lead for the boys, and Jiayu Kong of Arcadia, CA leading the girls’ field by one.
Will Kannegieser of Minot, ME entered the day seven strokes behind the leader, tied for eighth place. Reese McFarlane of Cape Elizabeth, ME was tied for 41st, and Gavin Dugas of Pittsfield, ME was tied for 47th. Kannegieser, McFarlane, and Dugas were the only three golfers from Maine to make the cut, which was set at 172.
