Brewed in honor of Sugarloaf's 75th Anniversary, the Winter's Way Golden Ale raises a glass to the mountain's legacy and the generations who've shaped it.
Smooth, easy-drinking, and crafted for gathering, this special collaboration with Orono Brewing Company invites Sugarloafers to reminisce on seasons past, while making new memories together.
Winter's Way Golden Ale is 5%, brewed with love, and sprinkled with freshly fallen snow from one of the season's first snowstorms.
Raise a glass this season at the Widowmaker and Bullwinkle's mid-mountain eatery.

History
Sugarloaf Mountain, one of New England’s premier ski resorts, began its journey in 1950 when the Sugarloaf Mountain Ski Club secured land on the mountain’s northern face. From its first rope tow in 1953 to the installation of a groundbreaking gondola in the 1960s, Sugarloaf steadily evolved into an international destination. Over the years, expansions like the West Mountain area, state-of-the-art snowmaking, and investments under Boyne Resorts have cemented its status as a top-tier resort.
The 2025/26 winter season marks our 75th Anniversary Season here at Sugarloaf. Over the next few months, we'll reflect on how 75 years of history have shaped this mountain and the Sugarloafers who continue to return year after year.
Help us reframe this history by sharing your Sugarloaf story with us, as we celebrate milestones both great and small, while building out a new timeline that reflects not just us, but Sugarloafers near and far.
Because there's nothing sweeter than being a Sugarloafer.
