College Snowfest

College Snowfest is back at the Loaf for winter break 2017; we have a killer lineup for you this year, as well as some NEW parties and events.

We are excited to announce that The Floozies will be headlining the week in the King Pine Room on Thursday, January 5th.

The Floozies

NEW at this year's College Snowfest are two 18+ themed parties. We will be hosting Sugarloaf's first ever Pool Party with DJ 4eign on Tuesday, January 3rd. Bring your bathing suits and party pants for this dance rave/pool party at the Sugarloaf Sports & Fitness Center. Then on Wednesday, January 4th, we'll be pumping tunes through headphones and lighting up the King Pine room glow-style for a Silent Rave. With two DJ's, a killer light show, and the biggest dance party in New England, this silent rave featuring Sneaker & The Dryer and DJ Frostbreaks is one you won't want to miss.

The Acts

The Floozies

Brothers Matt Hill (Producer/guitarist) and Mark Hill (Drummer) are bringing their fresh approach to electronic music and live performance to venues and festivals all over the country. The duo's combination of cutting edge electronic production and party rocking funk energizes crowds and turns venues into epic dance parties.

Fossil Factory

Through oscillators, keys, filters, knobs, guitars, and faders, Luke Dent (aka Fossil Factory) blends various styles of electronic music with a homemade throwback punch that launches the sound forward in time. Creating moods and tones through tailor-made programs and hardware, he captures the feelings and progressions that run through the circuits of his synapses to his fingers and into the computer. With influencesranging from Kraftwerk to Tears for Fears, from Dauwd to Justice and into today's dance music, he blends Dubstep, Electro House, Deep House and Pop for a sound that keeps his audience moving. You can catch Fossil Factory Thursday night when he opens up for The Floozies in the King Pine room.

Sneaker & The Dryer

Formed in late 2004, "Bass Music Specialists" Sneaker & The Dryer are an act not to be missed. Having rocked crowds from all over New England, to California and NYC to Las Vegas, Baltimore, Miami, Canada, and many more the S&D boys keep a busy schedule. Combining deft mixing, crazy looping, insane layering and on the fly remixing matched with electric energy, Sneaker & The Dryer put together an EDM showcase that destroys floors far and wide!! Specializing in all things bass they incorporate everything from Electro House and 4/4 to Dubstep, Breaks, D&B, Indie and Mid Tempo. Sneaker & The Dryer have played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry including - Starkillers, Ed Solo, Charles Feelgood, Josh The Funky 1, Swamp, Bad Boy Bill, Optical, Farace, Donald Glaude, Dj Irene, Dara, Steve Smooth, Bam Bam, Punisher, Monk, Wavewhore, Atomic Babies, Reid Speed, Uberzone & Bassbin Twins, Annalyze, Venom, Simply Jeff, Grandmaster Caz, and many many more.

DJ Frostbreaks

7 Years ago, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Frostbreaks was born. After spending many hours, days, weeks and now years practicing the styles and having much devotion to persist in perfecting the techniques used for live performances, Frostbreaks is now leveling the dance floors in cities across New England and out west! Frostbreaks has proven his technique of bringing a new sound that keeps the dance floor flowing with constant movement. His fondness of all genres from House, Electro, Progressive, Techno, and Minimal have given him the ability to try something new and funky which brings out his own favorite and personal style of Tech House, Funk, Techno, and Tribal blends. Frostbreaks has spun in cities all over MA such as his DJ "birthplace" of Springfield, Boston, Greenfield, Lowell, North Hampton, and Worcester. Frostbreaks has also performed many venues in NY, CT, ME, RI, and AZ. His indulgence in underground parties has also brought him around the states for numerous unnamed events, where the vibe is real and the parties can't get better!

DJ 4eign

DJ 4eign is a favorite here at Sugarloaf, dropping the reggae beats like none other and always keeping the dance floor packed. He puts on a dance party you won't want to miss. Each night of College Snowfest, we will be hosting some of our favorites in the Widowmaker Lounge. These 21+ shows will be free on Monday and Tuesday, and included in festival tickets Wednesday and Thursday.

Green Lion Crew

At the controls of a potent dance floor experience that draws from reggae dancehall, hip hop and the synthy beats of urban electro, producer/DJ Green Lion is a sonic craftsman at home both on the decks and in the studio. Honed in the heated atmosphere of Jamaican sound system culture and a constant schedule of live club and concert dates in the United States, all Green Lion productions-on record, over the air or live and direct-are energetic affairs designed to set bodies in motion.

Renegade Sound Station

Hailing from Nairobi, Kenya, Renegade Sound Station knows how to get the party going. Performing yearly at Sugarloaf's Reggae Rave, he always packs the house and gets everyone moving on the dance floor.

Mumz the DJ

"For me, it's all about mood, freedom, deep hypnotic vibes and fun loving feel-good atmosphere." That's how Mumz describes herself as a DJ. She grew up listening to Rock, Country, Classical, Freestyle, Reggae, R&B and Hip Hop music all which became infused with her own love of Electronic dance music. Her music is her therapy. Mumz infectious DJ style has allowed her to perform in nightclubs, bars, lounges, and special/private events all over the country. Her energy is evident when she is inside the DJ booth and behind the tables. Tapping her feet, nodding her head and jumping around gets the crowd hyped and bring the energy in the room to an all-time high! "I get lost within the music and speak to the crowd through it."
