Welcome to PEEPs!

PEEPs is our very own terrain park etiquette and education program. Once you've gone through the presentation, you will be entitled to one swanky PEEPs pass...and yes it is FREE. You maybe asking yourself...what does this mean? What do I get with this pass?

At Sugarloaf we take great pride in our Terrain Parks. Park users that know how to use our park features only help our mission for more FUN. Knowing your park etiquette and being educated about terrain parks will always give you a better terrain park experience! All you have to do is take the test. Simple directions will lead you through our program. At the end you will get a voucher with a serial number that you will need in order to get your PEEPs pass. Simply print out that voucher and take it to the Guest Services desk in the Base Lodge between the hours of 8am and 4pm any day of the week to get your pass. Also, PEEPs comes with perks! All PEEPs pass holders will receive...

Smart Style

The Freestyle Terrain Safety Initiative, "Smart Style", created by The National Ski Areas Association educates both skiers and riders about the proper use and progression of terrain parks at mountain resorts. the "Smart Style" message along with existing safety messages; will help to heighten the sense of education and awareness about the proper use of terrain parks in a way that is not hard to deliver, or for that matter to digest.

The more people become involved to help spread the word, the better! There are four main messages that are associated with Smart Style.

Every time you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use. Your speed, approach and take off will directly affect your maneuver and landing.

Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area.

Start small and work your way up.
