For just about all of us, running races with distances of the marathon-magnitude take a great deal of training and discipline. Register early and develop a training schedule and plan that works best for you.
Registration for the 35th annual Sugarloaf Marathon and 15K will open soon; registration will close on May 1, 2017, or as soon as we reach the 1600 runner cap.

Please note, there will be no on site, day-of registration; all participants must pre-register.
ALL adjustments to races must be completed by May 1, 2017 or before the race sells out, no matter what. Once the race sells out, no bib exchanges will be accepted. After May 1st, no race switches, deferrals or bib exchanges will be accepted.
Race switches will be allowed until May 1, 2017. Racers will not be credited for a switch from the marathon to the 15K and will be charged the entry fee difference for switching up to the marathon. Race up-charge fees will be determined by the date of the race switch, per the tiered entry fees (outlined above). Follow the link below to change races.
Race deferrals will be accepted for a $20 fee until May 1, 2017. Racers who defer MUST register themselves for the following year's event. No automatic registration for the following year is provided. No deferrals will accepted after this point. Follow the link below to access your racer profile and process your race deferral.
Once the race sells out, bib exchanges will not be permitted.
Check-In/Bib Pickup at Sugarloaf
Marathon & 15K check-in and race-bib pickup will be held in the Sugarloaf Base Lodge on Saturday, May 20, 2017 (the afternoon before the race) from 3-7pm. All unclaimed Marathon bib numbers will be brought to the start line and are available for pick-up between 6-6:30am only; unclaimed 15k bib numbers will be available at the 15k start line from 6:15-7am. This late bib pick-up is only applicable to pre-registered runners. We will not be assigning vacant bibs to new runners at either of these locations.
Please note: Runners will NOT be able to switch races morning of, this must be done in advance or at bib pickup on Saturday night.
Complete refunds for registrered races are not offered. Each runner has the choice to defer their registration to the following year for $20.
