Annual Meeting Notes

Monday, October 12, 2015

For those of you who may have missed the Annual Season Pass Holder Meeting during Homecoming Weekend, Karl Strand, along with other members of the Senior Team, addressed a standing-room-only-crowd at the Sugarloaf Inn, on Saturday. The meeting covered topics such as current marketing campaigns, safety initiatives, and capital projects.

Rich "Crusher" Wilkinson, presented the above rendering of the new load terminal for King Pine. With all of the concrete work finished, the construction site is now ready for the arrival and assembly of the Doppelmayr terminal.

Lift Director, Brent Larson, spoke to the number of planned lift upgrades that have been completed so far this summer, including the installation of new hydraulic emergency braking systems and anti-rollback sensors to our seven Borvig lifts.

The new braking system replaced the older "pull-lever" method with a single button, which will more instantaneously apply the brake when engaged.
