As I write this blog there is a Tornado Watch for Upstate New York....not usually the season you are thinking about skiing.
But the #MiracleMarch kept the Loaf in amazing snow through the spring and now into what feels like an early Summer.
They have, in their infinite wisdom, decided it would be worth it to open for one last hurrah this weekend for Cinco De Mayo. And, if only by sheer luck, the weather looks awesome.
High pressure builds in early tomorrow morning and Saturday look mostly sunny.
Normally I'd say "temperatures are a bit mild for my liking", but if you are skiing in May that's kind of a given. Still, it won't be 90 F like Wednesday, more like low 60s.
Sunday is decent as well although I expect some increased clouds during the afternoon with an isolated shower after 2 PM.
After that, look out because the pattern looks very conducive to another Nor'easter.
I'm just kidding you freakin' sickos, it's May. See you next year.
