12" Wednesday + A Weekend Cherry on Top
As promised, Wednesday night was good to The Loaf. The moisture streamed in and the snowfall ratios kept it all pow.
My only regret is that I had to work during the storm:

The weekend approaches and for many parts of Maine it'll be just plain messy; but at The Loaf it'll be a largely snow event.
There's really two parts to the system. The first is a warm front that approaches on Friday night.
That'll be all snow and continue through the night.
By Saturday afternoon warm air tries to invade, but it looks like we should stay JUST on the right side of the divider.
Sunday brings another somewhat "diffuse" wave of moisture which will again provide a rain/snow battle.
It'll be easily won in the morning, staying snow, and even better The Loaf doesn't see a mix until late Sunday afternoon.
So, long story short: despite the battleground nearby, you should be able to ski the vast majority of the weekend in either light snow or just clouds.
