This job includes various aspects of Lift Operations including: maintaining and managing communications via phone, email and radio between all major departments of Lift Operations. Coordinating and monitoring the opening and closing times of lifts throughout the day in addition to keeping detailed records of daily events and times. Updating all media for the Sugarloaf website and public information boards. Organizing, filing, maintaining and creating work orders, reports and daily operations logs using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Express and Microsoft Access. Lift Mechanic Technician

Maintain, repair and assist in the operation of chairlifts by completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions and performing training to operators. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensures proper operation of chairlifts and personnel by completing preventative maintenance of APU's, electric motors and line gear following manufacturers' maintenance manuals; troubleshooting malfunctions and training personnel in the proper operation. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; and checking for overheating. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using come-a-longs, cranes, heavy equipment, rigging, hand and power tools; examining and diagnosing cause of failure and correcting the condition. Maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventory and conserves resources by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate equipment, parts and supplies and using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Prepares operational and maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information. Maintains technical knowledge and continuity.

Snow Controller

The Snow Controller operates pumps and compressors in the Snowmaking Department. Must have knowledge of running pumps and compressors and be a good communicator. Be able to maximize efficiency, run necessary components according to temperature. Monitor water and air flows; turn compressors and pumps on and off accordingly. Report to the snowmaking manager and keep in contact with snowmakers about equipment running on the mountain. Need to be able to run computer program for water pumps, compressors, maintenance logs.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to; operating snow making equipment on mountainous terrain in all types of weather including set up, start up, operation of and shut down of snow making equipment, checking snow gun functioning capacity and monitoring snow quality. Must be able to work flexible schedule including day and night shifts, weekends and holidays, and be able to negotiate all types of terrain while maneuvering snow making equipment. Front Desk and Food Attendant

Part Time Seasonal

  Responsible for checking in guests, selling day passes and memberships and handing out locker keys and towels. Book appointments for the salon, tanning, racquetball and massages as well as sell merchandise, gift cards and gift certificates.  Food prep and serving of alcohol along with the policing of alcohol consumption and valid entry into the club.  Answer phones, collect payments, etc.  Must make people feel welcome, be a team player and take pride in the job.  Requires days,nights and weekends.

4PM-9PM Need Men to take care of Men's Locker Room
