Snow Removal

Part Time Seasonal

Shovel snow for condominium associations managed by Sugarloaf.  Maintain paths and decks, spread sand as needed.  Must be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs. and shovel for extended hours.  Drivers license helpful but not required.

 

 


Hotel Maintenance

Full Time Year Round

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Performing basic maintenance on plumbing, electrical, appliances, furniture, and general building maintenance trades.  Candidate must be able to work independently, safely and have the ability to operate basic hand and power tools.  Must have reliable vehicle and hold valid drivers license.  Position requires some heavy lifting up to 75 pounds.

Bussers at Bullwinkles

Full and Part Time Seasonal

Sugarloaf is looking for people to fill full time and part time positions of bussers in the resorts on hill restraunt, Bullwinkles. Primary responsibilities are clearing tables, helping assist the dishwashers, and keeping the kitchen flow going. Ideal candidate will know federal alcohol laws hold a current proper service of alcohol certificate, follow sanitation rules and help with other food and beverage functions as needed.


Prep Cook

Full and Part Time Seasonal

Sugarloaf is looking for experienced full time and part time cooks to join the cafeteria food and beverage team. Cooks are responsible for preparation and presentation of a variety of menu items as directed by the kitchen or unit supervisor. You must have knowledge and ability to use a variety of standard kitchen equipment, as well as practice safe food handling practices. Required is the ability to stand for long periods of time, available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate must be able to maintain composure and professionalism during pressure situations from high business levels and time constraints.


Food Service Cashier

Full and Part Time Seasonal

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to; greeting customers in Food Courts, using a register, closing a register as well as receiving payment for products sold. Must have the ability to stand for an extended period of time and be able to push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs. You must have excellent money handling and counting skills to be considered for this position.
Qualified candidates will possess a strong level of customer service and positive attitude.


Dishwashers

Full and Part Time Seasonal

You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all the various items used in food preparation, presentation and dining dishes. In addition you will be responsible for some food prep as directed by supervisors. Shifts will vary and require nights, days, weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for long periods of time is essential.


Chefs

We are in need of line cooks, breakfast cooks, banquet cooks and cafeteria cooks. Sugarloaf needs energetic, motivated, safety and sanitary conscious individuals that are able to multi-task and able to provide a quality product.  Your responsibilities include but are not limited to; preparation and presentation of quality food as directed by Resort Executive Chef, compliance with all sanitation and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean working area and assisting with stocking of inventory. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of and experience with standard kitchen equipment, the ability to work a flexible schedule, lift up to 50 lbs, be able to climb steps numerous times during the shift.  Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays is required

 


Wait Staff

Full and Part Time Seasonal

Required are professional, outgoing and friendly individuals able to converse with guests, take accurate orders and deliver food in a timely manner to join us in serving our restaurant guests. Ability to memorize menu's at the restaurant as well as other mountain restaurants is essential.
Duties include but are not limited to push/pull/lift up to 25 lbs., cash handling, busing tables, taking orders, and delivering food to guests. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment as well as a positive attitude are assets for these positions. Required are the ability to work a variety of shifts, including, days, nights, weekends and holidays. T.I.P.S. training and experience preferred.


Housekeeping-Janitorial

To perform routine custodial duties i.e., vacuuming, general cleaning, bathroom cleaning, trash and litter removal, dusting.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the setup of all conferences and events, perform minor repairs to equipment and structure as well as assist with any task(s) related to the upkeep of facilities and the safety of our guests. Candidate must be willing to work a variety of shifts and hours and the position requires some lifting.  

 


Janitor at Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel

Full Time Seasonal

Duties include cleaning the lobby, restrooms and all public areas of the hotel. Additional duties include stocking closets, vacuuming, assisting housekeepers and cleaning the health club. Must be able to lift at least 30lbs and do physical work. Must work weekends, holidays, and nights.

Mountain Operations

Lift Communications Assistant

Lift Communications Assistant

Full Time Year Round

This postions performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Mountain Operation departments and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Duties will include general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, fax and mailing, maintaining electronic and hard copy filing system, maintaining Lift Maintenance records, prepare written responses to routine inquiries, correspondence with state officials and insurance companies, maintaining schedules, training records and maintenance procedures and preparing and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails. Must have good computer skills, commuications skills, and an ability to manage an office independently.

 

 

 

 

 


Lift Operator

Full and Part Time Seasonal

Must be able to work outdoors during the winter in varying weather conditions.  Successful candidates must enjoy working with the public and be able to develop good working relationships with co-workers and employees from other departments.  Skiing/snowboarding ability is not required, but is a plus.  High school diploma or GED preferred.  Must be capable of delivering superior guest service!


Shuttle Bus Drivers

Full and Part Time Seasonal

Provide day and night operation of shuttle service. Park cars and drive 10-30 passenger capacity buses. Provide mountain information to resort Guests. Work as part of a team to provide transportation and information. Must have a CDL and a safe driving record and ability to drive in adverse conditions. Good communication skills are a must. Must be at least 18 years old.


Parking Attendant

Full and Part Time Seasonal

Primary responsibilities of this position are to direct guest to park in a safe and efficient manner. Greet guests, answer questions regarding Sugarloaf and its surrounding area, and help load/unload gear, skis and luggage to cars/shuttles.

Moose Caboose Driver

Full and Part Time Seasonal

Knowledge of snowmobiles, ability to maneuver through crowds safely, ability to work on minor problems on the machinery.  Driver is responsible for driving a snow machine pulling a sled with children on it. Must have experience working with small children, have a strong back and arms and have a great sense of humor.  Safety training on machinery and snowmobile usage helpful.


Perfect Turn Children's Program Cook/Inside Helper

Full and Part Time Seasonal

Oversee the operation of the indoor facility, keep it organized and efficient. Assistant Ski Pros, and Supervisors and ensure that guests needs are being met. Manage the inside areas and see to the children's needs, and assume responsibility for indoor acitivities. Prepare lunch daily, and assist in other duties assigned by the Supervisor.


Ski and Snowboard Coaches

Full Time Seasonal

Candidates  must have good communication skills and a passion for the sport of skiing and snowboarding with a strong desire to teach it to others. Full time is 5-6 days a week. Open jobs are working with children only.
