What's coming up at Sugarloaf
During the week of December 2-6, residents of Carrabassett Valley, Farmington, Freeman, Kingfield, New Portland, New Vineyard, Phillips, Rangeley, Stratton and Strong receive free lift tickets, and free equipment rentals. Valid ID is required.
Into the Mind Movie Premiere
The Widowmaker Lounge will do a free screening of Into the Mind by Sherpa Cinemas. The movie is free, open to all ages and begins at 7:30pm.
Holiday Gift Bazaar
Guests will have the opportunity to find unique holiday gifts at Sugarloaf's annual Holiday Gift Bazaar, which features unique products made by numerous local artists and craftspeople. Vendors will be set up in the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel throughout the weekend.
Sugarloaf invites skiers and riders to test out the latest offerings from the ski industry's top manufactures during this year's Demo Days December 7-8. Representatives from the industry's top manufacturers will gather at Sugarloaf to show off the latest and greatest products in ski equipment. Companies represented will include Volkl, Head, K2, Rossignol, Fischer, Salomon, and Icelandic. The cost to demo skis is just $5 per person. Vendors will be set up at the bottom of the SuperQuad.
Maine Ski Day presented by The Bank of Maine
Sugarloaf has proudly partnered with The Bank of Maine to offer a day of skiing and learning to all Maine residents. The Maine Ski Day, on December 15, will give Maine residents access to discounted tickets, rentals, and learn to ski or ride packages. Just show proof of Maine residency at the ticket window and receive a $29 ticket, $20 rental, or a $39 ski or ride package (includes ticket, and equipment rental).

Norman Ng Magic Experience
Norman Ng is a new kind of magician. His style is unique, energetic, and engaging. His magic is original and mind-blowing. His shows are hilarious and amazing. This is an all-ages show perfect for the entire family.

Prices are $7 per person when pre-purchased at Guest Services in the Base Lodge. Price is $10 per person at the door.
Galumpha New Year's Eve Show
Combining stunning acrobatics, striking visual effects, physical comedy and inventive choreography, Galumpha brings to life a world of imagination, beauty, muscle and merriment. This show is part of the Family New Year's Eve festival which starts at 7:30pm in the King Pine Room (Galumpha at 8pm). Admission is two non-persishable food items per person or $5 per person.
Fireworks Presented by the Bank of Maine
Join your fellow Sugarloafers on The Beach as we celebrate the New Year with a beautiful and stunning fireworks display! Show starts at approximately 9:15 PM.
College Snowfest Week
The 2014 College Snowfest Week is the biggest party in New England ski country. This event has the hottest shows and rowdiest parties for college co-eds.
Sugarloaf makes it easy for students 18+ to party together. Just book a two or more night ski and stay package during College Snowfest Week and you'll receive a wristband that gets you full access to all of the parties, all week long. That way you can skip the cover charges and concentrate on... well... partying!
Children's Festival Week
A week that's all about the kids. Join us for Children's Festival Week at Sugarloaf, featuring special events and activities for families both on and off the slopes. Packages include lodging, lift tickets, and ski school programs, and best of all, kids 14 and receive free lift tickets, rentals, and Perfect Turn clinics. Glowlight Parade & Fireworks Presented by the Bank of Maine
Watch skiers decend the mountain holding blazing torches in our Annual Torchlight Parade! Then, watch the night sky explode with a dazzling display of fireworks. Torchlight Parade begins at 6:00 pm with the fireworks display immediately afterward.
MLK Jr. Weekend
Escape to Sugarloaf with the whole family during the long MLK Jr Weekend. Great snow and mid-season conditions on the mountain, and non-stop, family-friendly entertainment off of it. Full event schedule coming soon!
Fireworks Presented by Bank of Maine
Celebrate the MLK Jr. weekend with a night of dazzling fireworks in the alpine sky. Located on The Beach, the show will begin at approximately 7pm.
White White World Week
Sugarloaf welcomes our guests, partners, locals and friends from the Hospitality and Ski Industry to the weirdest week at Sugarloaf all season-long. A week-long bash with nightly theme parties, live music, daytime contests and competitions, both on and off the hill, plus daily apres parties, mixers and socials that will have you wishing January would never end.
Join us for the Annual Sugarloaf Charity Summit on January 25, 2014! With day and evening events both on and off the slopes, the Sugarloaf Charity Summit has raised nearly $1,500,000 for Maine Charities. All proceeds from Charity Summit events will benefit the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center and the Maine Cancer Foundation.
Maine Winter Special Olympics
Now in its 45th year, Sugarloaf Mountain welcomes the proud families and courageous athletes for the annual Special Olympics.
Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Presented by the Bank of Maine
Special Olympians and families will gather at The Beach to watch a fabulous display of flames and explosions. The event begins at 8pm.

Fireworks Presented by the Bank of Maine
Booms, ohhs and ahhs - fireworks during the President's Week Holiday are presented by the Bank of Maine. The show will begin at 7pm.
Theatre IV is a professional touring children's theatre. Since 1975 they've toured all across the country.
This winter, their act comes to Sugarloaf to perform the play Pinocchio. The show will be in the King Pine Room at 7pm. The cost is $7 for pre-purchased tickets at Guest Services, or $10 for tickets at the door.
This show is appropriate for all ages.

Maine Outdoor Film Festival
The Maine Outdoor Film Festival visits Sugarloaf for a movie screening of Maine's best independent outdoor films. Join us in the Widowmaker Lounge for an evening of outdoor films, drinks and fun! Movies begin at 6:00 pm and are free and open to all ages.

Another incredible set of fireworks is presented by the Bank of Maine. The show begins on the Beach at 7:15 pm in honor of the Nova Scotia and Ontario Holiday.
4th Annual Sugarloaf Banked Slalom
The 4th annual Banked Slalom returns to Sugarloaf in March. Check out one of the coolest snowboard-only race events in New England, complete with sponsor swag, registration parties, two-days of racing and lobster trophies. Don't miss out!

26th Annual Bud Light Reggae Fest

East Coast Pond Skimming Championships
The East Coast Pond Skimming Championship is the most important sporting event to take place anywhere in the East. Just kidding... but they are super entertaining, so grab your garb and get weird as you slide and splash across our frigid lake. Full details on the event coming in March.
32nd Annual Sugarloaf Marathon & 15K
Now in its 32nd year, the Sugarloaf Marathon is Maine's oldest continuously run marathon, drawing hundreds of runners from all over the U.S. and Eastern Canada each year. Despite the mountainous surrounding, Sugarloaf's course is widely known as a fast course. The final 16 miles of the course have an elevation loss of 980 feet. It is common for runners to have personal best times on this course.
