The Patriots are playing for the championship again and Sugarloaf is celebrating. On Sunday, February 1, 2015 anyone in a New England Patriots' jersey can purchase a half-price ($42) lift ticket, and will have the opportunity to earn a free lift ticket for an addtiional day by participating in a group photo and run. Widowmaker Patriots Party

Widowmaker Lounge will be hosting a party for the big game on Sun, Feb 1 with specials by Chef Rob Higgins, a half-time football throw challenge and giveaways that include Bud Light Nordica skis, a Bud Light cooler and football helmet. 4th Annual New England Blind & VI Ski Festival

This week-long ski festival is dedicated to enjoying winter sports with blind and visually impaired skiers. In addition to providing ski lessons to beginners through advanced skiers that have a visual impairment, this festival is also committed to teaching friends and family who are interested in how to become guides.

Chainsaw Carving with National Champion Josh Landry

Josh Landry, a National Champion chainsaw carver, will be demoing his craft on the Beach at 2:00 pm on February 14! A carving made by Josh will be raffled off to a lucky child spectator at 3:15 pm, so be sure to check it out! Children must be present to win raffle. Josh's first carving will be donated to the Sugarloaf Charity Summit.

Presidents' Week

With the kids out of school and midwinter snow on the hill, Presidents' Week is the ideal time to bring the whole family to Sugarloaf. Enjoy some of the best skiing of the year, plus non-stop fun and family-friendly entertainment throughout the entire week. Theatre IV-Jack and the Beanstalk

Theatre IV is a professional touring children's theatre. Since 1975 they've toured all across the country.

This winter, their act comes to Sugarloaf to perform the play Jack and the Beanstalk. The show will be in the King Pine Room at 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm.  The cost is $7 for pre-purchased tickets at Guest Services, or $10 for tickets at the door. 

This show is appropriate for all ages.

Fireworks Presented by Bank of Maine

Come join the Sugarloaf Community and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display on the Beach to celebrate Presidents Week! Display will begin at 7:00 pm.

Gifford's Ice Cream Sampling and Scavenger Hunt

Giffords Ice Cream and Sugarloaf teamed up last season to make a new flavor called, Sugarloaf Mint Chip Yogurt. It was so good last year, they're coming back for more sampling and a scavenger hunt. Scavenger Hunt will be conducted on-hill in the children's ski areas. Grab a Gifford's logo and bring it to the sampling area to redeem for a prize! Grab your sample of this delicious Loaf inspired treat in the ticketing area of the Base Lodge (first floor near Perfect Turn) from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Monday, Feb 16 (or until we run out of ice cream).

 

 

 

Comedian Bob Marley at Shipyard Brew Haus

Join Sugarloaf and Shipyard Brew Haus in welcoming comedian Bob Marley back to the slopes of the Loaf for two-nights of hilarious Maine comedy! This is a annual staple comedy event at Sugarloaf, so you don't want to miss out. Shows will be 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm at Shipyard Brew Haus in the Sugarloaf Inn on February 18-19, 2015. Tickets are on sale now for $24.50 at Sugarloaf reservations, so call 1-800-THE-LOAF today to reserve yours! Tickets can be picked up at Shipyard in advance, or on the night of the performance.

The Tardy Brothers

You may have seen juggling, but you haven't truly experienced it until you've seen the explosive, inventive juggling of brothers Matthew and Jason Tardy in their show, The Tardy Brothers. Amos and Pierre Dinner Series

Sugarloaf Mountain presents the Amos & Pierre Dinner Series. Come join your favorite Sugarloaf characters Amos the Moose and Pierre the Lumberjack for a family-style Italian meal and party!  After the meal, activities like ice skating, sledding and night-time snowshoe tours will be available.

Meal begins at 5:30 pm. Prices are $5 for children and $12 for adults. Other activities are not included in meal price. Check out other kids activities here!

We're proud to announce the first ever Ski the East Freeride Tour stop at Sugarloaf. With the above treeline skiing, immense sidecountry and steep terrain, hosting a big mountain skiing contest with STEFT was a given. Details to come as the event date approaches. 5th Annual Sugarloaf Banked Slalom

The 5th annual Banked Slalom returns to Sugarloaf in March. Check out one of the coolest snowboard-only race events in New England, complete with sponsor swag, registration parties, two-days of racing and lobster trophies. Don't miss out!

King of Spring Demo

Downhill Supply Company will host a ski and board demo at Bullwinkle's Mid-Mountain lodge during the final weekend of the Nature Valley US Alpine Championships, March 28 & 29, 2015 from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm daily. Cost to demo will be  $10, cash only, paid at Bullwinkle's. This is a chance to try out all of next year's gear before anybody else! Skis, boards and boots for both disciplines will all be there to try. Major ski/board brands will be Head, K2 Snowboards, Burton, Rossignol, Blizzard, Lange, Dalbello, Salomon and Volkl.  If you need more info, call Downhill Supply Co. at (207) 237-6990.

2015 Snowmaker's Ball

Join the Sugarloaf staff in celebrating the conclusion of another great winter season with their annual Snowmaker's Ball in Widowmaker Lounge on Wed, April 8th at 8:30 pm. As one of the only chances to see a majority of the Sugarloaf community in their semi-quasi-formal attire, you don't want to miss this great party. This event requires formal attire and is FREE and open to the public. 21+ only. North of Nashville will be rocking the stage all night, so don't miss out!     

27th Annual Bud Light Reggae Fest

Hands down, the annual Bud Light Reggae Fest at Sugarloaf is the biggest springtime party in ski country. Last year we celebrated Reggae Fest's 26th anniversary with an incredible lineup,  record-breaking crowds, awesome Spring skiing weather and our largest headlining show ever, with California reggae artist, Iration. Back in 2015 for it's 27th consecutive year, we're pulling out all the stops....again! East Coast Pond Skimming Championships

The East Coast Pond Skimming Championship is the most important sporting event to take place anywhere in the East.  Just kidding... but they are super entertaining, so grab your garb and get weird as you slide and splash across our frigid lake. Come fly across our newly designed pond skim venue on Sunday, April 19th, 2015 at 1:00 pm!
