Bud Light Presents Halfway To Reggae with Catchavibe

Join Catchavibe and the Widowmaker crew as we celebrate making it halfway to the 2016 Bud Light Reggae Fest (or thereabouts). Catchavibe will play live sets on Friday night at 9:30pm, and on Saturday from 3:30-5:30pm and 9:30pm-12:30am. Enjoy specialty tropical drinks featuring Gosling's Rum, win a custom Gosling's snowboard, as well as other specials and giveaways from Bud Light. 

5th Annual New England Blind & VI Ski Festival

This 4 day ski camp is dedicated to enjoying winter sports with blind and visually impaired skiers. In addition to providing ski lessons to beginners through advanced skiers that have a visual impairment, this festival is also committed to teaching friends and family who are interested in how to become guides.

Bud Light Uncovered Series Presents Mallett Brothers & Wild Adriatic

The Bud Light Uncovered Series presents a Co-headlining event with Mallett Brothers & Wild Adriatic, live in the Widowmaker Lounge on Saturday, February 13th from 9:00 pm - 12:00 am. Thanks to Bud Light, the UnCovered Series concerts are free, so come out to see some of the best entertainment in New England perform in the Widowmaker Lounge. Drop the kids off in the Mountain Magic room of the Base Lodge at 5:45PM on Tuesday, February 16th.

Pretty Faces Movie Premiere

Join us in the Widowmaker Lounge for a FREE movie event from 6PM-8PM

Pretty faces is an all female ski film featuring the best athletes from around the world in celebration of playing outside, pushing the sport of skiing and living up to our fullest potential as a supportive community. Inspired by the desire to offer young girls role models and inspiration to play outside, this film aims to capture all the girl stoke from the pioneers who have paved the way to the "never-evers" who will continue to define what it means to ski like a girl.

Comedian Bob Marley at the Shipyard

Join Sugarloaf and Shipyard Brewhaus in welcoming comedian Bob Marley back to the slopes of the Loaf for two nights of hilarious Maine comedy. Moonlight Climb

Join us for the second Moonlight Climb of the season.

Snowshoe or Skin from the Superquad to Bullwinkles and enjoy a delicious treat.

We will start as a group at 5PM and head up Tote Road.

Register day of in Guest Services from 10AM-4PM. FREE event, all ages welcome.

Must have Snowhoes or touring equipment. Snowhoes rentals available at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center, limited touring equipment available at the Downhill Supply Company.

On Saturday, February 20th, Carrabassett Valley Academy (CVA) will hold its annual CVA Scholarship Fundraiser at the Sugarloaf Inn from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. This event, which features a raffle as well as a live and silent auctions, is now the Academy's only annual event to raise scholarship money for student athletes. Maine Adaptive hosts it's Annual Sugarloaf Social at the Outdoor Center on March 5. Tickets will be $50 in advance, or $60 at the door.The event benefits Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation in support of their year-round adaptive recreational programming for individuals with permanent physical disabilities. WinterKids Downhill 24

Sugarloaf is proud to announce that the WinterKids Downhill 24 event presented by Darling's Auto Group, will be hosted here this year and will be the first time in history that Sugarloaf's slopes have been lit! The 4th Annual WinterKids Downhill 24 at Sugarloaf is a fundraising event to benefit WinterKids programs, to be held Friday, March 11 - Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Ski as much or as little as you'd like, but most of all come have fun, raise some money, & celebrate WinterKids. The D24 is designed for people of all ages & ability. Sign up as an individual, or team (up to 12). Ski the East Freeride Tour

Back again in 2016, Ski the East will be returning to Sugarloaf for another Ski the East Freeride Tour event stop! Don't miss this big mountain skiing contest that brings out the gnarliest skiers from New England to throwdown on Sugarloaf's steep, fall-line terrain. 6th Annual Sugarloaf Banked Slalom

The 6th annual Banked Slalom hosted by Sugarloaf and Olympian Seth Wescott returns in March 2016. Check out one of the coolest snowboard-only race events in New England, complete with sponsor swag, registration parties, two-days of slalom course racing and lobster trophies. 28th Annual Bud Light Reggae Fest

Hands down, the annual Bud Light Reggae Fest at Sugarloaf is the biggest springtime party in ski country. Last year we celebrated Reggae Fest's 27th anniversary with an incredible lineup,  record-breaking crowds, awesome Spring skiing weather and one heck of a headline show by Stick Figure. Back in 2016 for it's 28th consecutive year, we're pulling out all the stops....again! Additional details to follow! 

East Coast Pond Skimming Championships

The East Coast Pond Skimming Championship is the most important sporting event to take place anywhere in the East.  Just kidding... but they are super entertaining, so grab your garb and get weird as you slide and splash across our frigid lake. Come fly across our pond skim venue on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016 at 1:00 pm! 34th Annual Sugarloaf Marathon & 15K

Now in its 34th year, the Sugarloaf Marathon is Maine's oldest continuously run marathon, drawing hundreds of runners from all over the U.S. and Eastern Canada each year.  Despite the mountainous surrounding, Sugarloaf's course is widely known as Maine's fastest. The final 16 miles of the course have an elevation loss of 980 feet, and it is common for runners to post personal best times on this course. With record attendance years in 2014 and 2015, be sure to sign up early! Registration opens on Sept 1, 2015!  Click here for more information and to register
