A Short Film Celebrating Sugarloaf.

The Sugarloaf experience is bigger than the mountain - which is saying a lot. It's the fusion of true believers with an extraordinary place. Throughout the 2009-2010 winter season, we worked to condense this experience into a short film.

 

To make this happen we teamed up with producer Kurt Miller (son of legend Warren Miller and former owner of Warren Miller Entertainment) and director Chris Keig (who produced the snowboarding segment featured in the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics). Crews spent hours on the hill, filming powder days, competitions and events, and then even more time in the editing room, combing through archives, trimming down hours of interviews into minutes. The result is a 23 minute tribute to the greatest mountain in the East.
