Preparing for the Olympics is a busy and unrelenting process, that involves many, many things. But from what we can ascertain, the two most important are without a doubt:
-
1. Endless amounts of year round training, day in and day out
-
2. Lots and lots of photo shoots
After photo shoots earlier this summer in LA and Tremblant, Seth spent this past weekend in NYC with none other than Lyndsey Vonn, shooting photos for the cover art on Sega's next winter olympics video game. Pretty cool stuff. He'll rack up some more frequent flier miles next weekend when he travels to Whistler in BC for more (you guessed it) photo shoots. This is all before the training starts to get more intense, with a quick trip to Argrentina with US Snowboarding in August.
In the meantime, Seth managed to work in some time on the golf course here at Sugarloaf today as part of the Health Care Classic to benefit the Franklin Memorial Hospital. He offered his services as a sort of designated hitter as it were, hitting a fifth drive for scramble teams on the tenth hole. Seth hit a few rockets down the center of the fairway, but also launched his fair share off into the trees too (at least his golf game is human). He also got up close and personal with some of the local wildlife....
