Personal Nordic Training

The Sugarloaf Outdoor Center is now offering an exclusive Nordic ski program for women looking to achieve a healthy lifestyle in a relaxed outdoor setting with an emphasis on personal training goals. New Free Nordic Activities for 2007-2008

K's for Kids
Anytime
This self paced activity is open for all skiers up to age 18. Using the honor system, log the K's skied at Sugarloaf and we'll add a snowflake to the chart and give away some great prizes including a season's pass grand prize.

Kid's Club
Saturdays 1pm
Bring in the youngsters for a weekly activity hour every Saturday afternoon throughout the season. The Kid's enjoy a fun game in a safe supervised setting, the parents get to do their own thing and it's free! A win-win-win. Intended for ages 4-10, we'll play some ski or snowshoe games, have a scavenger hunt, explore for animal tracks, make a ski video or perhaps just make snow angels and a snowman.

Group Ski
Saturdays 1pm
Would you like to get together for a fun hour long ski and meet some new people? Every Saturday at 1pm, two groups meet on the deck and pick a fun loop that fits the group, kind of like that group bike ride that so many look forward to every week. There's a faster group A.K.A. the Hammer Family and a more laid back group, the Mellow Groovers. So take your pick, go waxless or wax up for classic or skate and get ready for some great social camaraderie.

Wax Clinics
Saturdays 12 noon
Join one of our free wax clinics to find out why so many seem to be flying by with little effort. Maybe you just want to get a sanity check on the low tech basics. Our weekly clinics will highlight a particular subject so you can find out about those buzzwords like hot wax, fluoro, structure, and even the dreaded word: klister.
