Join us for the Annual Sugarloaf Charity Summit on January 28, 2012! With day and evening events both on and off the slopes, the Sugarloaf Charity Summit has raised over $1,100,000 for Maine Charities. All proceeds from Charity Summit events will benefit the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center and the Maine Cancer Foundation.

Join fellow Sugarloafers and raise a mountain of money to find a cure! Reach any of three Fundraising Levels and qualify for incredible perks:

    Free lift ticket for Saturday, January 28; free event t-shirt and gift bag valued at $100
  • Cruiser - $1000
    Free lift ticket for Saturday, January 28; $100 gift bag with limited edition Charity Summit garment; one ticket to the Charity Ball; lift-cutting privileges for one skier all day; $250 gift card to the Sugarloaf Ski Shop

Warm Up Race and BBQ for a Cure

December 29, 2011
11am-1pm, Lower Competition Hill

 

Join us as we kick off the Charity Summit Events and “warm up” your racing skills on a fun and easy GS course on Lower Comp Hill, followed by a noontime BBQ at the Jean Luce Building. The race and BBQ are open to everyone…just a $5 donation for the race and a $10 donation for the BBQ. Register for the race after 9am at the Jean Luce Building on December 29, the day of the “warm up” race.  


 

Charity Summit Events - Saturday January 28, 2012

Charity Challenge Race
  • This race is open to the public. Challenge your friends, your family, your coaches, celebrities & more. Just $5 collected at the start gate. Race located on Boardwalk.

Hands For a Cure - NEW FOR 2012!
  • Join us for this new and fun ski game. Ski the SuperQuad between 11:30 and 1:30 on January 28, 2012, and you'll be given a card  (maybe the Ace of Spades) for each run you make. Turn in your best poker hand by 2pm and join us at the Loafers reception at 3pm. Prizes will be awarded to the top three poker hands. Minimum donation is $20.00

Sugarloaf Charity Ball - The biggest Sugarloafer bash of the season!
  • King Pine Room, Base Lodge - 6:00pm
    Tickets available at Guest Services in the base lodge, only $75 each… a memorable evening including a huge silent auction, an entertaining live auction, dancing, hearty hors d’oeurves, live music and more.
  • Raffle
    Part of Sugarloaf’s Charity Ball is drawing the winner of an adult 2-year Sugarloaf season pass with no blackout dates. This pass is valid for the 2012/13 and 2013/14 ski seasons. Tickets are just $10 each or 3 for $25 and can be purchased at the Guest Services desk at Sugarloaf, or you can purchase yours online here.
  • The Charity Ball Program
    A great keepsake for guests, the Charity Ball Program is a great opportunity to honor and pay tribute to loved ones who have been touched or taken by cancer, or to demonstrate your business support for the fight against cancer by purchasing an ad. To place an ad please call 207-797-7130.
  • Silent and Live Auctions - 5:30pm
    The largest silent auction and most entertaining live auction in the Valley. With over 150 items, the Silent Auction is open to the pubic (noon until 4pm) but ticketed guests to the Charity Ball have the final chances to bid. Auction items include artwork, crafts, clothing, household items, gift certificates, and much more! To donate items, please contact Martha at 207-797-7130. Franklin Memorial Hospital’s Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center provides timely access to state-of-the-art screening, diagnostic, clinical, and care-support services, provided by a multi-disciplinary team of experts.
