Inner Circle - Friday
Few modern reggae acts have garnered the kind of popularity that Inner Circle has amassed over the past few decades. Known as the "Bad Boys of Reggae," this Jamaican-bred, Grammy winning quintet delivers energy-filled performances with mass appeal.
Inner Circle got their foothold in the reggae business in the mid-1970s but didn't hit the big time until they released their most popular album titled Bad Boys, which went on to sell over seven million copies worldwide. This tight-knit band has travelled the world, and now we welcome them to Sugarloaf. -
Kenyatta "CULTURE" Hill - Saturday
Kenyatta Hill's career began when his father's ended on tour in 2006. Kenyatta, the son of 'Culture' legend Joseph Hill, stepped onstage to deliver electrifying performances time and again to the amazement and delight of fans and critics alike.
Kenyatta serves as front man for Culture while also pursuing his solo career on shows in the US, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe. He will be joined by premier roots backing band Yard Squad in the King Pine Room on Saturday, April 17. -
TOSH-1 - Sunday
The son of the late, great Peter Tosh, Tosh-1 was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to Boston at the young age of five. As a child Tosh made multiple trips back to Jamaica each year to maintain his roots, and after the untimely death of his father, he began his quest to continue the legacy of his father's message.
Since that time Tosh has gone on to perform on Reggae's biggest stages, alongside some of the industry's biggest starts, including Damien Marley, Sizzla, Gregory Isaacs, and Shabba Ranks. Tosh-1 will take the stage on the Beach for a free show on Sunday, April 18.
