CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine – Chris Hagerty and Chelone Miller finished first and second, respectively, in today’s Revolution Tour slopestyle competition at Sugarloaf, while Allyson Carroll and Victoria Guinn took the top two spots in the women’s competition.

Eric Beauchemin finished third for the men, and Danya Patterson took home the third and final podium spot for the women.

Hagerty’s second run score of 36.7 was good enough to secure him the top spot for the men, while Carrol jumped to the top of the podium with a second run score of 32.4. Riders were judged on two runs, keeping the best score out of the two.

Competitors enjoyed sunny skies and warm temperatures for today’s slopestyle competition, the second of three disciplines athletes will compete in at Sugarloaf during the final stop on this season’s US Snowboarding Revolution Tour. The halfpipe competition was yesterday, and the tour will conclude tomorrow with men’s and women’s snowboardcross on the Seth Wescott designed Sidewinder Snowboardcross Course.

The Revolution Tour is the top junior event tour in the country, featuring competitions in halfpipe, slopestyle, and snowboardcross. The event brings together athletes from across the country to identify the top juniors. Halfpipe and slopestyle athletes 13 and older (snowboardcross 15 and older) compete together in an open-class event. The Revolution Tour is also used to qualify athletes for World Juniors, U.S. Open, U.S. World Cup, US Grand Priz, USASA Nationals and Project Gold camps.
