Retail
Character Mascot
Part-time, seasonal, 10-12 hours over four days a week (including Saturday and Sunday) portraying Sugarloaf's famous mascots on the mountain on ski/board and on walkarounds in the resort base area. Requires upper intermediate or expert level skier or rider and outgoing fun attitude.
Hotel Janitor
Duties include cleaning the lobby, restrooms and all public areas of the hotel. Additional duties include stocking closets, vacuuming, assisting housekeepers and cleaning the health club. Must be willing to work three (3) day shifts as well as two (2) second shifts (2-10pm).Condo Housekeeping
Full-time, seasonal. Job duties include stripping linens and trash from rooms, making beds vacuumin and dusting, washing windows and walls, cleaning and setting up bathrooms and kitchens, and distributing resort information into rooms. Other duties include assisting laundry in the laundry department. Must be a team player, safety conscious, have good guest service skills and lift up to 20lbs.Janitor
Full-time, primary duty is to keep all common, office and building areas clean. Essential job functions are to remove trash, vacuum, dust, clean windows & walls, mop, clean restrooms and take care of recyclables. Snow shoveling and sanding as needed in addition to make deliveries for the housekeeping department as well as assist that department as needed. Complete daily record keeping as required. Needs to have valid drivers license and use own vehicle. Daily schedule is from 6:30am to 3:00pm. Must be a team player, safety conscious, have good guest service skills and be able to lift up to 40lbs.Ski and Snowboard Coaches
Full and part-time, seasonal (winter/spring). Applicants must have strong skiing and/or riding skills. Candidate must have good communication skills and a passion for the sport of skiing or snowboarding with a strong desire to teach it to others.
Snowmakers
Full-time, seasonal, Set-up and operate snowmaking equipment, hydrants and prepare fixed gears for making snow all over the mountain. Rearrange snowmaking lines and blowing equipment, assist other departments snow removal. Physical requirements: Must be able to hike up and down steep terrain in all types of weather conditions.Terrain Park Ranger
Full-time, seasonal, Responsibilities will be: morning check of all parks and pipes, marking jumps and rails, raking take offs where needed, hand building or shaping rail take offs, rail installation and removal, sign maintenance, traffic control and public education, ensuring safety in all parks and pipes.Competition and Event Crew
Full-time, seasonal, Positions typically start in December. Set up, run and tear down of all competitions and events on the mountain. Race or competition experience is helpful but not necessary. Must be able to ski or ride on all trails in all conditions and be able to work outside all day.
